EMU: 2024: Appeared in two games for the Eagles in her first season in Ypsilanti… Made her debut at Howard (Feb. 25) and also saw action at home against Butler (March 15)… CONCORDIA: Appeared in 11 games for the Golden Bears, starting twice… Tallied eight goals and three assists, with seven goals and two assists coming during the 2023 campaign… Scored a career-best two goals on three occasions, with the last coming at home against Davenport in a 15-14 win (March 26)… Earned a spot on the GLIAC Academic Excellence team after posting better than a 3.5 GPA during the academic year… JACKSONVILLE: Was member of the Jacksonville University program for the 2021 season, but did not see any action… The Dolphins advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 after winning the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament in 2021… HIGH SCHOOL: Was a multi-sport standout at Ecole South Delta Secondary School, where she graduated in 2021… Played three seasons of soccer (goalkeeper), two seasons of basketball, two seasons of boys’ field lacrosse, and ran track for one season… Also competed on a club level in girls’ field lacrosse, boys’ box lacrosse, soccer, and basketball… Won a gold medal at the provincial games in girls’ field lacrosse while also taking bronze in boys’ box lacrosse and soccer… PERSONAL: Full Name: Laurelle Helene Weisbrod… Parents are Rick and Erin Weisbrod… Has one brother, Rylan… Is fluent in both English and French… Competed in Canada’s French Public Speaking Contest, the Concours d’art Oratoire.
