EMU: 2024: Appeared in seven games for the Eagles… Made her collegiate debut at Howard (Feb. 25)… CENTRAL MICHIGAN: Did not play during the 2023 season… team won the 2023 MAC Tournament and advanced to the 2023 NCAA Tournament… HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Bloomington High School in 2022… Played on the varsity lacrosse team for three years and served as a team captain all three seasons… Was coached by her father, Andy, at BHS… Finished her prep career with 152 goals scored, 76 of which came in her senior season (6.3 goals per game average)… Named IHSA All-State as senior… Earned all-sectional and all-conference twice… Named to the Illinois Senior All-Star Team in 2022… Twice named her team’s MVP (junior and senior years)… Named USA Academic All-American twice (2021, 2022), Big 12 Conference Athlete Award recipient three times (2020-22), and recipient of the IHSA Scholastic Achievement Award three times (2020-22)… Also played two years of volleyball and four years of basketball for BHS… At the club level, was a five-year player for Redbird Elite… Helped her team to the 2017 Pipe City title… Three times named to the all-tournament team at the Indiana Prairie Showdown (2019-21)… PERSONAL: Full Name: Makenna Lee Grisinger… Parents are Andy and Jacy Grisinger… Has one brother, Andy… Two of her cousins, Tayrn Galt (Southwestern Oklahoma State) and Abrey Galt (Oklahoma Baptist) play collegiate volleyball… Major: Business with a minor in Interior Design.
