New Gmail Signature

Google Mail allows you to create a signature with your name and other contact information to put at the bottom of every email so that you don't have to type it out every time.

Option A: Using the Pre-made Template

Visit EMUEagles.com/gmail to locate your signature template.
Navigate to google.emich.edu.
Click the "Mail" link and log in.
Click the gear-shaped Settings drop-down icon and choose "Settings" from the resulting list.
In the "General" tab, find the "Signature" section.
Click in the textbox (the radio button under "No signature" will be selected) and paste the signature template you copied from EMUEagles.com.
Enter your information in the spaces provided and customize the links as desired.
Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page when you are finished.

Option B: Manual Logo Update

Go to EMUEagles.com/gmail.
Scroll down to find your signature template.
Right-click on the logo and select "Save Image As..."
Save the image to a folder you can easily find (we suggest the Downloads folder).
In your Gmail, click on the gear icon (Settings) in the top right and select "See all settings."
Scroll down to the "Signature" section and click on it.
In the signature, click on the existing logo and select "Remove."
With the cursor flashing where the logo used to be, click on the "Insert Image" button.
Click on "Upload," then click on "Select a file from your device."
Choose the logo file you saved and click "Open."
The logo should now be placed in the signature at the correct size.
Scroll to the bottom and click "Save Changes.
