Zach Shuk enters his third season as Goalkeeping Coach of the Eastern Michigan University soccer team in the 2026-27 academic year.
Shuk coached goalkeeper Ella Holland to one of the best seasons by a goalkeeper in program history in 2025. Holland led the MAC in saves (105), save percentage (.847) and saves per game (5.83) en route to being named All-MAC Second Team and MAC goalkeeper of the week twice, Sept. 23 and Oct. 21, including one of the all-time greatest performances in Eagles history with 20 saves at Kent State, Oct. 2, 2025.
Shuk was also an Assistant Goalkeeping Coach at Madonna University during the 2024 season alongside his role at Eastern, helping the Crusaders reach a 14-3-4 record and a spot in the NAIA National Tournament.
Shuk is a former goalkeeper for the Men's Soccer program at Madonna University, spending five seasons there as a student-athlete. Shuk made 13 appearances in net for the Crusaders, making 18 saves. During his time at Madonna, Shuk was named to the Champions of Character Team in 2021, and WHAC All-Academic in 2022.
Shuk is from Farmington Hills, Michigan, graduating from Madonna University in December, 2023 with a degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing.
