Kayla Gribble is in her first year as the Director of Compliance at EMU in 2025-26 after previously serving as the Assistant Director of Compliance from 2021-25. She oversees all compliance-related activities for her assigned sports while assisting in other department efforts.
Gribble is well versed in law, having clerked and interned for multiple practices and organizations, including Legal Action of Wisconsin.
Prior to her arrival in Ypsilanti, she gained athletic compliance experience with a pair of stops at Notre Dame College (2020), and the University of Wyoming (2020-21).
A graduate of Hamline University with a degree in legal studies, Gribble most recently added a juris doctorate to her pedigree after graduating from the Marquette University Law School in the spring of 2021. Prior to the completion of her degrees, she earned paralegal credentials from Alexandria Technical College.
