EMU: 2013: Played in and started 50 of the Eagles' 51 games on the season…named First Team All-MAC...two-time MAC West Player of the Week honoree...Academic All-MAC Team member...was one of only three players to hit over .300 as she posted a .321 batting average which was good for third on the team…led the team in slugging percentage (.586), runs scored (29), runs batted in (39), doubles (11), home runs (8), total bases (82) and sacrifice flies (2)…drew 15 walks and was hit by four pitches which were both good for second on the team…had 11 multi-hit games…posted a .953 fielding percentage with 86 putouts and 78 assists…went 3-for-4 at the plate with two home runs and five runs batted in against Toledo (4-19-13)...2012: Played in 36 games, starting 34 of them…hit .209 with three doubles and three home runs…drove in nine runs for the Eagles and went a perfect 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts...posted a pair of multi-hit games and set a career-high with four RBI against Buffalo (3-30-12)…2011: Played in 16 games, starting in six...posetd her first collegiate hit against UMBC (2-27-12) going 1-for-3 at the dish…drove in four runs on four hits for the Eagles…HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Lockport Township High School... was a four-year letterwinner in softball...earned all-conference and all-area honors her senior year...boasted a .400 batting average and .923 fielding percentage during her senior campaign...helped lead her team to four conference championships…PERSONAL: Full Name: Amanda Marie Stanton…daughter of Jerry and Lisa Stanton…has two brothers, Jake and Josh…Major: Liberal Arts for Elementary Education.
