HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Detroit Catholic Central High School in Novi, Mich., where he earned three letters and served as a captain for one season as a pitcher on the Shamrock’s baseball team under coach Ryan Rogowski…A first team all-league player in his high school days…Posted a 1.02 ERA his senior year as the team produced a 27-12 record…Also earned four letters as a football player…Named all-league twice while also collecting an all-state honor…Was named to the Detroit Free Press All-North Second Team.
