Dance Team
The Eastern Michigan University Dance Team is proud to be part of the EMU Spirit Programs, alongside the EMU Cheer Team, Marching Band, and mascot, Swoop.
Team members serve as ambassadors for Eastern Michigan University, promoting school spirit at athletic events, including Football, women's basketball, and men's basketball. They also travel to postseason football bowl games and Mid-American Conference (MAC) tournaments.
Since becoming nationally competitive in 2020, the EMU Dance Team has continued to excel, earning two National Champion titles in 2023 and, most recently, placing seventh in Division I Jazz and fifth in Division I Hip Hop at the 2025 College Nationals.
