Swim and Dive Announces 2025-26 Schedule

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving program, Head Swimming Coach Derek Perkins, and Head Diving Coach Tom Gimm announced the team's 2025-26 schedule Wednesday, Sep. 17.
The Eagles begin their season with the Green vs. White intra-squad scrimmage Saturday, Oct. 4, 1 p.m., in the Jones Natatorium. They are then slated to compete in eight regular-season meets before the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships, hosted by the University of Akron, at Ocasek Natatorium in Akron, Ohio, Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 25-28.
Eastern will open its regular season with two home meets, first hosting Illinois State University and the University of Toledo at the Eastern Classic Friday-Saturday, Oct. 10-11, at Jones Natatorium, followed by hosting Akron Friday, Oct. 31, 4 p.m.
On the road for the rest of 2025, the Eagles will compete against Bowling Green State University at Cooper Pool in Bowling Green, Ohio, Friday, Nov. 7, 6 p.m. Next, they will travel to Rochester, Mich., for back-to-back weekends, first to compete against Oakland University Thursday, Nov. 20, 4 p.m., followed by competing in the Oakland Invitational Wednesday-Saturday, Dec. 3-6, with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. and finals starting at 6 p.m. each day.
Eastern will compete for the first time in 2026 against Miami University at the Aquatic Center in Oxford, Ohio, Friday Jan. 16, 2 p.m., followed by hosting Ball State University Saturday, Jan. 24 in Jones Natatorium at 1 p.m.
A tradition of the swimming and diving program, the Eagles will celebrate their seniors with the annual Senior Extravaganza Saturday, Feb. 7, 1 p.m. The team will conclude its regular season with the Michigan First Chance meet, hosted by the University of Michigan Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 14-15.
After the MAC Championships, select Eastern swimmers and divers will go on to compete at further post season meets such as the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational Championships Thursday-Saturday, March 12-14.
The season will conclude with the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, hosted by the Georgia Institute of Technology at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga., Wednesday-Saturday, March 18-21.
