YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team is set to host its Second Annual Wild Card Game Friday, Oct. 3, 5 p.m., at Oestrike Stadium. The intrasquad scrimmage and community event will give fans their first chance to get a look at the 2026 squad and the all-new playing surface.

The contest is part of a full day for the program, as the 16th Annual EMU Baseball Golf Outing takes place earlier that day at the Eagle Crest Golf Club, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The Wild Card Game is free and Head Coach Robbie Britt will once again be buying the first 50 fans a free Little Caesars SuperSlice.

Fans of all ages are encouraged to come out and enjoy the fun. The concourse will feature inflatables, a free face-painting station, and lawn games such as Cornhole, Spikeball, and KanJam.

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the evening, highlighted by Little Caesars and Kona Ice food trucks.

The 2026 campaign is filled with promise as Eastern is coming off its first postseason win and appearance since 2017 and 2018, respectively.
