Nusseibeh Announces 2025-26 Women's Basketball Non-Conference Slate

Eastern is set for 10 contests including three home games
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Women's Basketball Head Coach Sahar Nusseibeh announced the program's 2025-26 non-conference schedule Thursday, Aug. 14.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 3, the Eagles will embark on a 10-game non-conference lineup that will see them travel to five different states and face opponents from seven different conferences, including two against the Big Ten Conference. All game times are to-be-announced.
The regular season officially begins Monday, Nov. 3, as Eastern is scheduled to compete in the MAC-SBC Challenge, beginning with a road contest against the University of Louisiana Monroe.
The Eagles will continue their road trip as the next four contests will be played away from Ypsilanti. Following ULM, EMU will travel to Western New York for a game against Nusseibeh's former institution, Canisius University, Friday, Nov. 7.
Eastern's first power-conference matchup will come Sunday, Nov. 9, against Michigan State University, in East Lansing, Mich. Next on the docket is the Tommies of the University of St. Thomas, Friday, Nov. 14, in St. Paul, Minn. Purdue University Fort Wayne follows the Tommies as the Eagles will complete their five-game road trip in Fort Wayne, Ind., Wednesday, Nov. 19.
EMU will open the home portion of its 2025-26 schedule one week later, facing another Horizon League foe as the Colonials of Robert Morris University will visit Ypsilanti, Wednesday, Nov. 26. The Eagles will complete their regular-season series with the Horizon League four days later, capped with a game in the heart of Detroit, Mich., at the University of Detroit Mercy, Sunday, Nov. 30.
Two home tilts will follow as the Eagles will fly back to Ypsilanti for a battle against Defiance College, Friday, Dec. 5, before taking on Duquesne University, Tuesday, Dec. 9.
The final road non-conference game will take place Sunday, Dec. 14, with the Eagles traveling to historic Assembly Hall to face the Hoosiers of Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
The non-conference finale will take place at a to-be-determined date and time in the month of February as EMU will host an SBC school in the final game of the MAC-SBC Challenge.
