Five Gymnasts Join the Eagles for Upcoming Season

Roster expands with five all-around gymnasts
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Gymnastics Head Coach Katie Minasola announced the addition of five talented student-athletes to the roster for the 2026 season.
EMU welcomes four freshmen and one transfer to the team, all competing in all-around. The freshmen are Savanna Dunwoody (Spearfish, S.D./Spearfish), Adysen Mazzoni (Sarasota, Fla./Parrish Community), Macy Nihart (East Lansing, Mich./Homeschool), and Georgie Slack (Uttoxeter, England/Thomas Alleyne's). The transfer is Kendall Landry (Frisco, Texas/Wakeland/Minnesota).
"We are extremely excited to add these five talented young women to our roster," said Minasola. "Macy, Georgie, Savanna, and Adysen will add value and make an immediate impact in our line-ups. Kendall will not only add value in our line-ups but brings her experience to the program. Our program continues to progress, and I look forward to our newcomers adding their spark!"
In combination, the class features several accomplished athletes ready to join the Eagles, including three Level 9 championships, six state championships, one Level 10 championship, seven national qualifiers, and one national champion. Among the group, Nihart, an incoming freshman, has earned Level 10 Michigan State titles on vault, bars, floor (twice), and all-around, and is a two-time national qualifier.
