Uy Finishes Outdoor Campaign at NCAA East Regional

Sophomore ties for 31st in the pole vault
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (EMUEagles.com)—Eastern Michigan University's women's track and field team had one student-athlete competing on the first day of the NCAA East Regional, May 28.
In the pole vault, sophomore Natalie Uy (Kettering, Ohio-Fairmont) tied for 31st among some of the nation's premier athletes in the event. Uy cleared a height of 3.93 meters/12 feet 10.75-inches, tying for 12th in the first flight of competition. The Kettering, Ohio native ends her campaign as a Second Team All-Mid-American Conference honoree after finishing runner-up in the pole vault at the 2015 MAC Championships.
Eastern will continue with the NCAA East Regional tomorrow, May 29, when a pair of Eagles takes on the 3000m steeplechase at 9:30 p.m. Live results will be provided through ncaa.com.
