COLUMBUS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Senior all-around competitors Carrina Lo Bello and Anna Willette capped off the 2015 NCAA Regional on the campus of the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio Saturday evening, April 4.
Going up against some of the toughest competition in the nation, Lo Bello tied for ninth overall in the all-around with a 39.025, while Willette placed 14th overall with a 38.200.
Lo Bello tied for 34th overall on the vault in her first rotation of the day with a 9.725, while Willette had a bye in the first rotation of the night. Willette competed on the bars for her first event of the night, earning a 9.700 and placing 38th overall.
Moving to the third rotation, both Lo Bello and Willette competed in separate events, representing the Green and White. On the bars, Lo Bello nabbed a 9.800 to tie for 12th overall, while Willette struggled a bit on the beam with a 9.000.
In her second-straight event of the night, Lo Bello nabbed a 9.725 on the beam and Willette had her final bye of the night before capping off the meet on the floor and vault.
With Lo Bello in her final bye round of the night, Willette took to the floor where she earned a 9.750 to tie for 32nd overall.
Lo Bello capped off her 2015 season on the floor where she finished just above Willette with a 9.775 to finish 37th overall, while Willette notched a 9.750 to tie for 27th overall on the vault.
