Eagles Host MAC Foes in Triangular Meet

Central Michigan and Buffalo visit Bowen for Saturday competition
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's men's track and field team will host its second and final meet of the 2014 calendar year as Mid-American Conference opponents Central Michigan University and the University at Buffalo will come to Bowen Field House for a triangular meet Saturday, Feb. 1
Looking to repeat success from the 2012-13 campaign, when the Eagles won the 2013 MAC Indoor Track and Field Championship, the matchup against the conference contenders should prove to be a good marker as to where the squad stands in comparison with the conference before the 2014 MAC Championship, Feb. 28-Mar. 1.
"The triangular meet features many of the top athletes in the MAC across all areas, making for an exciting event," said Head Coach John Goodridge.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. The men's events will run first, followed by the women.
