STUDENT JOB OPPORTUNITIES
The Eastern Michigan Equipment Department is looking for students who are interested in a career in athletics or just those who have a love of sports. Working in the Equipment Department provides the opportunity to get valuable experience while still in college. The toughest part of breaking into athletics, whether amateur, collegiate or professional, is getting started. There is no substitute for experience and we are looking for hard workers who want to see if this field is for them. The longer you wait, the more time someone else has to get added experience over you.

FOOTBALL FIELD MANAGER – Assist athletic equipment department with set-up, tear down and practice responsibilities for football program. Responsibilities to include but not limited to moving equipment, spotting ball, cleaning up following drills. This position also requests assistance on game day with some travel possibly being involved. Hours: 4-6 hours per day Tuesday-Thursday, other hours per home game schedule.
STUDENT EQUIPMENT ASSISTANT – Assist athletic equipment department with daily operations of football equipment room. Jobs to include organization, cleaning, maintenance, issue, laundering of athletic equipment and apparel. This job works both indoors and outdoors. This position also requests assistance on game day with some travel possibly being involved. Hours: 4-6 hours per day Monday – Friday, other hours per home game schedule.
EQUIPMENT ATTENDANT – Assist athletic equipment department with operation of Convocation Center equipment room. Jobs to include, organization, cleaning, inventory and administrative duties in relation to needs of department.Hours: Flexible
LOCKER ROOM ATTENDANT – This position will assist athletic equipment department with custodial duties for Football team building and Convocation center as well as assisting with laundry for all athletic programs. Hours: 3-4 hours per day
