EMU Athletics to Host Athletics Bash Thursday, Sept. 14

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics is hosting a welcome back campus bash Thursday, Sept. 14, on the patio of the EMU Student Center. The event runs from 12-2 p.m. and is FREE to attend.

All current students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to come out and show their school spirit.

Various EMU student-athletes, coaches, and staff will be in attendance, along with entertainment provided by the Detroit Pistons' DJ. In addition, food, giveaways, and other interactive activities will be available on the patio.

Students are encouraged to take a photo at the event, with the Block E incorporated into the picture, and post it on Instagram using the hashtag #EMUEagles. The submissions will be entered into a drawing for a customized Fathead to use in the EMU student section throughout the season.

Faculty or staff displaying their EMU pride on Instagram will be entered into a drawing to receive two complimentary basketball season tickets or the use of a suite at an EMU basketball game of their choice.
