YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — For the fourth year in a row, the Eastern Michigan University men's swim and dive team have been selected by the Mid-American Conference to finish first in the regular season, the MAC announced, Friday, Sept. 29. The Eagles received four first-place votes en route to the top spot.

Missouri State was picked to finish second after receiving two first place votes. Miami rounded out the top three while Southern Illinois was slated fourth. Ball State and Evansville concluded the rankings at fifth and sixth, respectively.

In his 29th year stint, Head Coach Peter Linn looks to secure the Eagles' 35th MAC title this season. The Eagles will open the 2017-18 season at home against Northwestern University, Wednesday, Oct. 11. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at Jones Natatorium.
