EMU Football Set For Noon Kickoff at Toledo

The Oct. 7 contest will kickoff at 12 p.m. on CBS Sports Network from the Glass Bowl

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan-Toledo football game, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 7, will kickoff at 12 p.m., the Mid-American Conference office announced today, Sept. 25. The game will be shown nationally on the CBS Sports Network. WEMU (89.1 FM) will provide audio coverage of the game from the Glass Bowl in Toledo, Ohio.

EMU team dips back into non-conference play this weekend, when it heads to Lexington, Ky. to square off with the University of Kentucky Saturday, Sept. 30. Kickoff from Kroger Stadium is set for 4 p.m. Both teams enter the contest hoping to shake off heartbreaking home setbacks in conference play. The Eagles (2-1, 0-1 MAC) were stung in double overtime by Ohio, 27-20, while the Wildcats (3-1, 1-1 SEC) came up just short on a 57-yard field goal attempt as time expired against No. 20 Florida, 28-27.
