SEC Network Set To Televise EMU-Kentucky Game

The Sept. 30 contest will kickoff at 4 p.m. from Kroger Field in Lexington, Ky.
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan-Kentucky football game, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30, will kickoff at 4 p.m., the Southeastern Conference office announced today, Sept. 18. The game will be shown nationally on the SEC Network. WEMU (89.1 FM) will provide audio coverage of the game from Kroger Field in Lexington, Ky.

This marks the first of three scheduled meetings between the Eagles and Wildcats on the gridiron. UK comes the "The Factory" at Rynearson Stadium during the 2019 campaign, while EMU returns to Lexington during the 2020 season.
After an early season bye week, the EMU football team returns to action Saturday, Sept. 23, against defending Mid-American Conference East Division champion Ohio University. The MAC lid-lifter between the Eagles and Bobcats will begin at 2 p.m. inside "The Factory" at Rynearson Stadium.
The contest is Band and Hall of Fame Day, as eight former EMU student-athletes will be honored for their outstanding careers. The E-Club Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2017 includes: Brian Bixler (Baseball), Walter Church (Football), Lauren Clark (Softball), William DuLac (Football), Jessica Hupe (W. Soccer), Robin Loheide (W. Gymnastics), Lela V. Nelson (W. Track & Field), and Tiberia T. Patterson (M. Track).
Tickets are available by calling the EMU Ticket Office as 734.487.3669 or by visiting EMUEagles.com/tickets. Fans can purchase adult tickets for $15 in advance or $25 on the day of the game, while youth 12-and-under are just $8. Additionally, groups of 15-or-more can receive greatly discounted pricing by contacting the EMU Ticket Office to arrange an outing.
