The event will highlight the league's annual kickoff event on Wednesday, July 26
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference will host its 2017 Football Media Day on Wednesday, July 26, at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The MAC Football Media Day kicks off the 2017 season, which officially begins on Thursday, Aug. 31, and will conclude with the 2017 Marathon MAC Football Championship Game at Ford Field in Detroit.
Once again this year's MAC Football Media Day will be shown live on ESPN3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.. The ESPN3 production will highlight the league's annual kickoff event as hosts Michael Reghi and Dustin Fox will visit with all MAC head coaches and several students throughout MAC Media Day.
Attending from Eastern Michigan will be Head Coach Chris Creighton, senior linebacker Jason Beck (Indianapolis, Ind.-Arsenal Technical) and redshirt senior quarterback Brogan Roback (Maumee, Ohio-Toledo St. John's Jesuit).
EMUEagles.com will also have full coverage of the event with interviews and releases to be posted throughout the day.
Not only will MAC Football fans around the country be able to watch the live show previewing the upcoming 2017 season, but they will also have the opportunity to interact with the head coaches, student-athletes and league office regarding media day. Both EMU and the MAC will post updates throughout the day using its Twitter, Instagram and Facebook feeds. The official twitter hashtag for the 2017 MAC Football Media Day coverage is MACtion and EMUFB. The 2017 MAC Football Media Day changed locations from Ford Field in Detroit to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton due to construction at Ford Field. The annual MAC Football Media Day will return to Ford Field in 2018.
