YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The countdown to the 2017-18 Eastern Michigan University athletic season is on and with it comes a new number to remember. Beginning Tuesday, May 30, the number to purchase tickets for EMU athletics will change to 734.487.ENOW (3669).

The office, which remains inside the EMU Convocation Center atrium, is open Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Season tickets for the 2017 EMU football season are now on sale to see the Eagles under fourth-year Head Coach Chris Creighton. EMU will look to build upon its resurgence last year that saw the program finished tied for the most improved program in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).

The campaign will feature five home contests at "The Factory" at Rynearson Stadium. In 2017, the Eagles will host Ball State, Bowling Green, Charlotte, Ohio, and Western Michigan, while road games will be at Army West Point, Central Michigan, Kentucky, Miami, Northern Illinois, Rutgers, and Toledo.

EMU Athletics remains committed to being the best value in the Mid-American Conference and has continued to simplify the ticket pricing structure to make sure you do not miss a minute of the 2017 EMU Eagles' home schedule.

Eastern Michigan continues to offer the Ultimate Fan Season Ticket Plan for just $105 ($21 per game). The premiere plan includes a padded chairback seat at midfield along with free parking. Fans can also order reserved non-chairback season tickets for just $70 ($14 per game), EMU faculty and staff can secure non-chairback season tickets for $50 ($10 per game), and Young Alumni (35 and under) can purchase season tickets for only $40 ($8 per game).

New this year is the EMU season ticket holder referral program that is designed to encourage fans to share their love of EMU football with friends, family, and co-workers by referring them to become season ticket holders. The program rewards season ticket holders each time they refer a customer who buys football season tickets. For more information on the program, call the EMU Athletics Ticket Office or visit EMUEagles.com/referral.

Buying a season ticket is your best deal, as you will save 44 percent when compared to the single-game rate at the door.

Single-game tickets will go on sale Aug. 7. Fans can purchase adult tickets for $15 in advance or $25 on the day of the game, while youth 12-and-under are just $8. Purchasing tickets in advance of gameday not only saves time waiting in lines at the door, but is also a savings of 40 percent!

Additionally, groups of 15-or-more can receive greatly discounted pricing by contacting the EMU Ticket Office to arrange an outing.
