Join EMU Softball for the 2017 Diamond Dinner!

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University softball team is set to host the second annual Diamond Dinner, May 5, at the Ann Arbor Regent located at 2455 Carpenter Rd. Ann Arbor, MI 48108. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and run to approximately 10 p.m.
"I am excited to invite our friends, families, and fans to attend our Diamond Dinner," Head Coach Melissa Gentile exclaimed. "This event is such a great way to honor our current team and senior class, celebrate the 10th anniversary of our 2007 MAC Championship, and of course, the silent auction is always a lot of fun as well. We look forward to hosting the event this year at the Ann Arbor Regent hotel and can't wait to see you there!"
Like last year, the Diamond Dinner will double as the team's banquet. The event will take place following EMU's series opener versus Mid-American Conference West Division foe, Central Michigan. The event will kick off at 7 p.m. and feature a season overview and the presentation of team awards, as well as speeches by the 2017 senior class. Additionally, Gentile and her club will recognize the 10-year anniversary of the Eagles' MAC Tournament Championship team. Meanwhile, in addition to dinner and drinks, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a silent auction, as well as meet the 2017 Eagles.
