The Eagles have 10 players set to join the team in August

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Head Soccer Coach Scott Hall announced the addition of Parys Kerr (Whitby, Ontario-Pickering) to the Eagles 2017 signing class.

Kerr joins a class comprised of Chloe Chatzis (Macomb, Mich.-Henry Ford II), Madeline Olson (Libertyville, Ill.-Libertyville), Alia Frederick (Linden, Mich.-Linden), Lauren Cimino (Sterling Heights, Mich.-Henry Ford II), Tessa Osborne (Mentor, Ohio-Lake Catholic), Chelsea Abbotts (Ottawa, Ontario-Mother Teresa), Lindsey Shira (New Baltimore, Mich.-Anchor Bay), Marla Cobetto (Trenton, Mich.-Trenton), and Kennady Kuhlman (Howell, Mich.-Hartland), and pushes the incoming total to 10.

A 5-foot-9 midfielder out of Pickering High School, Kerr possesses incredible speed and solid ball skills that will make the Eagles attack a force to be reckoned with. A talented all-around athlete, Kerr also lettered in volleyball and track and field for the Trojans, where she was named Freshman Track & Field Athlete of the Year. In signing with the Green and White, Kerr will reunite with former teammates Kristin Nason and Sabrina McNeill.

The Eagles begin spring games next month, while Kerr and the rest of the incoming class will get the 2017 season underway in August.
