The Eagles qualified as a team to the NCAA Championship race for the third time in program history

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The women's cross country program extended its championship tradition in 2017, taking its third straight MAC title behind four top-15 finishes, all of which earned All-MAC honors for their performances. Additionally, Head Coach Sue Parks captured her fourth MAC Head Coach of the Year award. Parks went on to lead the Eagles to a fourth-place finish in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, where they notched their second-best regional team score in program history (146 points). Based on its impressive performance throughout the season, the Green and White qualified as a team to the NCAA Championship race for the third time in Eastern history, where they ended their season with a 27th-place finish.
