YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's Department of Athletics will take part in the national "Black Friday" shopping event with a special deal on tickets for men's and women's basketball games. The sale begins Friday, Nov. 24, at 12:01 a.m. and runs until 11:59 p.m.
Black Friday, Nov. 24, offers three-game ticket packages for $9, a 67 percent saving from the regular price of $27.
All games are available for fans to chose in their you-pick packages. The men's schedule is highlighted by home games against Oakland (Dec. 6), Central Michigan (Jan. 9), Akron (Jan. 16), Ohio (Jan. 20), Western Michigan (Jan. 30), and Ball State (Feb. 3). On the women's side, the Eagles host Longwood (Dec. 20), Kent State (Dec. 30), Toledo (Jan. 6), Western Michigan (Jan. 17), Miami (Jan. 24), Central Michigan (Feb. 3), Akron (Feb. 11), Ohio (Feb. 14), Northern Illinois (Feb. 24), and Ball State (March 3).
EMU's men's basketball team is off to its best start since the 2014-15 season, posting four straight wins to open the season. Most recently, the Eagles topped Howard, 76-66, inside the Convocation Center. Meanwhile, the women enter the holiday weekend with a 2-2 record that includes wins over Florida A&M (83-61) and Rochester (62-29).
