It is the first weekly award of Crosby's career, and the sixth of the season for the Eagles. Four of the six accolades for EMU have come on the defensive side of the ball.

Crosby wreaked havoc against Central Michigan, Nov. 8, as the defensive end finished with a career-high three sacks, including one that was stripped away and returned by him 14 yards for a touchdown on the opening play of the game.
