NASSAU, Bahamas (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team continued their winning ways in Nassau yesterday, Aug. 25, securing a 101-74 victory over the CTG Knights. Although the Knights pulled within four after the first quarter, the Eagles coasted the rest of the way to a 27-point win.

Five Eagles finished the exhibition game with double digit scoring efforts, as senior Willie Mangum IV (Richmond, Va.-Marshall (San Jacinto College)) poured in 24 behind five three pointers. In his second game donning the Green and White, Lamar Wofford-Humphrey (Flossmoor, Ill.-Homewood-Flossmoor (Butler C.C.)) finished with 18 points after going 8-of-12 from the floor.

Just behind Wofford-Humphrey, seniors Raven Lee (Detroit, Mich. - Romulus) and Ty Toney (Alpharetta, Ga. - Alpharetta (Georgia Highlands)) kicked in 15 apiece, while sophomore James Thompson IV (Baton Rouge, La. - Parkview Baptist) finished the game with 14 points and six boards.

As a team, the Eagles drained 11 shots from beyond the arc, ultimately going 51 percent (41-of-81) from the field. The squad also out-rebounded the Knights by a 44-42 margin, in addition to notching 16 assists and an impressive 19 steals.
