The Eagles series finale versus Kent State has been cancelled
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Roughly three inches of snow in the Kent, Ohio area has forced the Eastern Michigan University softball team to cancel its rubber match game versus Kent State University. The game was originally slated to take place today, Apirl 9, but the winter-like weather has left the Diamond at Dix unplayable.
Additionally, the Eagles announced another change to the schedule. The Green and White were originally set to host Oakland University at Varsity Field for a doubleheader, May 3, but the Golden Grizzlies have been forced to reschedule a Horizon League set for that day. Now, the Eagles will host OU Tuesday, April 12, in a single game with first pitch set for 3 p.m.
