EMU Football Golf Outing Set for Friday, June 3

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The 13th Annual Golf Outing to support the Eastern Michigan University football team will be held Friday, June 3, at Eagle Crest Golf Club here in Ypsilanti.
"The participation in last years event was tremendous," remarked EMU Head Football Coach Chris Creighton. "Thank you to everyone who came out to support our program. This year's tournament is going to be even bigger and better. Your contribution will go toward the annual senior leadership trip, which is held prior to our 2016 season. Be sure to get your registration in early so you don't miss out!"
The cost for this year's golf outing is $150 for an individual golfer and $600 per foursome. In addition, a special rate of $100 is available for young EMU football alumni from the classes of 2012-16. Tickets for the dinner only portion of the event are just $35.
Dinner will include many contests and prizes, and there will also be a raffle and a silent auction for various EMU memorabilia. Check-in for the tournament begins at 9 a.m. followed by a shotgun start four person scramble format event at 10 a.m. The post-round reception and dinner starts at approximately 3 p.m. For more information on the event, please contact EMU Director of Football Operations Jake Kirkendall at 734.487.3420.
