Golf, Soccer, Tennis and Wrestling Participate in Victors Day Event in Ann Arbor

The EMU women’s golf, soccer, tennis and wrestling teams spent time with more than 700 young people at the 2016 Victors Day fundraising event
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's golf, soccer, tennis and wrestling teams, as well as coaches volunteered their time at the 11th annual Tom Wall Foundation Victors Day event held at the University of Michigan, April 4. Victors Day is a fundraising event for the T. Wall Foundation, which teaches special needs children and children who have spent much of their time in the hospital how to play sports.
The 2016 Victors Day brings together Michigan and EMU student-athletes and over 700 specials students from all over Washtenaw County. It is a heart-warming and satisfying sight to see them meet the EMU and U-M student-athletes. The special students putt, dribble a basketball, row, catch a softball, hit a field hockey ball, and experience a host of other sports at various stations.The U of M Best Buddies co-sponsor this event.
