YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — With the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team advancing into the semifinal round of the 2016 Mid-American Conference Tournament, Eastern Michigan Athletics is planning to provide transportation for fans who wish to travel to Cleveland, Ohio, to see the team in action Friday, March. 11 at Quicken Loans Arena.
A fan bus will be provided for the Friday, March 11, semifinal match-up. The bus will depart from the Convocation Center at approximately 9:30 a.m., and will return to Ypsilanti following the conclusion of the women's game, which is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. against Central Michigan. All fans who wish to ride the bus will be required to purchase a ticket at the Convocation Center Ticket Office prior to boarding the bus. The bus will be available to the first 54 fans who arrive at the Convocation Center and purchase their ticket to the game.
A bus would also be offered should the Eagles play on Saturday, March 12, in the championship game, which begins at 1 p.m.
The EMU men's basketball team lost to No. 1-seeded Akron in a quarterfinal game Thursday, 65-63.
