YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) –
The Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team will host Ball State University for a Sunday afternoon, April 3, for a Mid-American Conference dual match. First serve is slated for 1 p.m. from the Claudia Wasik Tennis Complex. Should inclement weather arrive on Sunday, the match will be moved to the Chippewa Racquet Club.

Ball State (15-2, 2-0 MAC) will enter Sunday's match following a home dual with Miami University Friday afternoon, April 1. The series between the Cardinals and Eagles (3-12, 0-2 MAC) is also in favor of EMU. Eastern holds a record of 28-8 in the 36 matches in which the two squads have competed. In the last 10 matches that these two teams have met, EMU has dominated with eight wins. However, last season, the Cardinals got the best of EMU as Ball State handed the Eagles a 5-2 loss in Muncie, Ind. In that match, the Green and White was able to come away with a pair of singles victories as Alejandra Barcelo Almoyna and Andrea Martinovska each won their respective matches.
