ATLANTA (EMUEagles.com) - Junior diver Alex Chan (Toronto, Ontario-Neil McNeil Secondary School) wrapped up day two of the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships on the 1-meter Thursday, March 24.
One season after becoming the first EMU diver to qualify for the NCAA Championships, Chan became the first Eagle to compete on the 1-meter springboard. The Toronto, Ontario native posted a score of 305.60 in the preliminary round, ultimately nabbing a 31st-place finish.
The Eagles continue competition in Atlanta tomorrow, Friday, March 25. Prelims begin at 10 a.m. before the championship heats take place at 6 p.m.
