Baseball Announces Eighth Annual Golf Outing

The outing will take place Friday, May 13 before the game versus Northern Illinois
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University baseball team has announced the details for its eighth annual golf outing today, March 23. The event will take place Friday, May 13, at the Polo Fields right here in Ypsilanti.
The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with sign-in, followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. A post-outing lunch will take place at the clubhouse around 2 p.m. The outing will precede the start to the weekend series versus Northern Illinois University, with Friday's game set to begin at 6 p.m.
Those wishing to participate can sign up with a foursome for $500, or individually for $125. The price includes 18 holes with a cart, an open practice range and putting green, food at the turn, and the post-outing lunch, which will include an open bar. Official team gear will also be raffled off.
Individuals or companies who would like to sponsor a hole can do so for $100, or for $150 they can be an elite hole sponsor, which would include the company logo on the sign, as well as words of encouragement for the EMU baseball team.
This year's golf outing will be a part of the annual Alumni Weekend. This year the team will honor the 40th and 41st anniversaries of the 1975 and 1976 College World Series teams.
