Eastern Set to Take On Oakland at Home

This is the final match before beginning Mid-American Conference play
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- For the second time this season, the Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team will host Oakland University, March 12. The Green and White will take the court at the Claudia Wasik Tennis Complex Saturday at 1 p.m. If weather should not cooperate, the match will take place at the Chippewa Racquet Club.
Earlier this season the Eagle defeated the Golden Grizzlies, 5-2, Jan. 22, at the Chippewa Club. In that match, the Green and White took the doubles point before Klara Supejova, Andrea Martinovska, Ani Gogvadze and Anna Veleva each grabb singles victories. Overall, Eastern will square off with Oakland for the ninth time in the program's history. Eastern Michigan is undefeated against the Golden Grizzlies, including a 6-1 victory at the Chippewa Club last season, March 7, 2015.
