Trio of Eagles Compete at NCAA Zone C Diving Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) -
The Eastern Michigan University women's diving team competed at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships Thursday, March 10, but failed to qualify anyone on the 1-meter springboard.

Sophomore Alli Shereda (Fraser, Mich.-Fraser) posted the top finish for the Eagles, totaling 221.80 points in prelims to nab a 34th place finish in a highly competitive field. Fellow sophomores Molly Miller (Farmington Hills, Mich.-Harrison) and Emily Tubbs (Monroe, Mich.-Monroe) rounded out the trio competing for the Green and White. Miller claimed 40th with 211.45 points while Tubbs finished 41st.

The Eagles return to the Boilermaker Aquatic Center tomorrow, March 11, to compete on the 3-meter springboard. Live results can be followed through divemeets.com.
