Lee is suspended indefinitely from competition
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University men's basketball player Raven Lee (Detroit, Mich.-Romulus) has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules, EMU Head Men's Basketball Coach Rob Murphy announced Friday, Nov. 13.
"We hold our student-athletes to the highest of standards," remarked Murphy. "Unfortunately, Raven failed to meet these standards. We expect that he will learn from this experience. We look forward to Raven's return."
Lee, a 6-foot-3 redshirt-junior guard led the EMU men's basketball team in scoring last season with 16.7 points per game. The Detroit, Mich. native was the second leading scorer in the Mid-American Conference a season ago, while he was recently named to the preseason All-MAC West Divsion Team last week.
EMU will have no further comment on Lee's suspension.
