EMU Gymnastics Inks Recruit Natalie Gervais

Gervais will attend EMU beginning this fall
	YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan Universty Head Gymnastics Coach Steve Wilce announced, April 21, that incoming recruit Natalie Gervais (Winnipeg, Manitoba) has signed a National Letter of Intent to begin her collegiate career with the Eagles. Gervais will attend EMU beginning this fall and will compete for the Green and White in the 2014 season.
	
The Winnipeg, Manitoba native has had a great start to her 2013 campaign, winning titles in the all-around, uneven bars and balance beam at the Edmond Financial Women's Manitoba Championshps, April 13. Gervais currently trains at Springers Gymnastics Club.
	
Last year, Gervais placed third on the beam before finishing in fifth place in the all-around at the 2012 Canadian National Championships. Prior to the national championships, she took runner-up at the Western Canadian Championships in the all-around competition.
	
Attending Sturgeon Heights Collegiate, Gervais made the honor roll every year throughout high school, including graduating with a French immersion diploma.
