YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- With a full day of events planned around Rynearson Stadium, the Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics wants to encourage fans to make plans to arrive on campus early Saturday, Nov. 23, for the football game against Bowling Green State University.
Kickoff from Rynearson Stadium is set for 1:04 p.m. with the gates opening 90 minutes before the contest instead of the usual 60 minutes. For the remainder of the 2013 season, gates will open 90 minutes prior to the game for all fans and spectators.

SENIOR SNAPSHOTS: Saturday's game is the final Rynearson Stadium appearance for 14 Eastern Michigan University seniors. Below is a quick snapshot of each of those seniors.
#3 - Donald Coleman: Safety Donald Coleman has played in 21 games for the Eagles throughout his career recording 148 tackles (63 solo, 85 assist). A transfer from North Carolina State University, Coleman tallied a career-high 19 tackles at Michigan State (Oct. 22, 2012).
#17 - Donald Scott: Wide receiver Donald Scott has appeared in 44 games for the Green and White, recording 38 catches for 562 yards and five touchdowns. His best season came in 2012 where he tallied a career-high 255 yards receiving on 19 catches to go along with three touchdowns.
#21 - Ja'Ron Gillespie: Defensive back Ja'Ron Gillespie has started 11 of his 36 career games played. A native of Washington, D.C., Gillespie has totaled 51 tackles (32 solo, 19 assist) to go along with three tackles-for-loss and a pair of pass deflections.
#23 - Joe Fleming: Fullback Joe Fleming has played in 22 games for the Green and White, notching four receptions and five carries during his career. During the 2011 campaign, Fleming scored his only career touchdown on a reception against Howard (Sept. 4).
#26 - Mycal Swaim: Safety Mycal Swaim has appeared in 18 games throughout this two-year career at EMU. After transferring from Butte College in Oroville, Calif., Swaim has recorded 92 tackles in two seasons as an Eagle, including 72 this year. Against Penn State (Sept. 7), the Chico Calif. native hauled in his first career interception. In EMU's latest victory over Western Michigan, Swaim did his part in the thrilling overtime contest, tying his career-high with nine tackles.
#32 - Javonti Greene: Running back Javonti Greene has played in 40 contests splitting time between running back and wide receiver. He has totaled 1,487 all purpose yards (1,184 rushing, 290 receiving, 13 kick return) and 10 touchdowns. During the 2011 campaign, Greene rushed for 100+ yards against Howard (Sept. 4) and Alabama State (Sept. 10) and turned in a three-touchdown performance at Central Michigan (Oct. 15). As a freshman, the West Palm, Fla. native became the first EMU runner in school history to record two 50-yard plus runs for scores in a game when he recorded touchdown runs of 55 and 53 yards at Virginia (Oct. 23, 2010).
#34 - Kody Fulkerson: Kicker Kody Fulkerson has participated in 34 games for EMU, recording 31 extra points and 14 field goals. Used mainly as a kickoff specialist during the 2012 and 2013 campaigns, Fulkerson has notched 5,190 yards on 93 kickoffs.
#40 - Sean Kurtz: Linebacker Sean Kurtz has played in 22 contests since arriving in Ypsilanti from Santa Ana Community College. A native of Anaheim, Calif., he has recorded 65 tackles (22 solo, 43 assist) to go along with an interception.
#55 - Tim Brown: Linebacker Tim Brown has played in three games in his two seasons at EMU. He came to Ypsilanti from San Jose City College where he recorded 92 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, seven forced fumbles, six pass breakups, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
#69 - Shawn Sinawe: Offensive lineman Shawn Sinawe has played in two games during his EMU career with both of them coming in 2011.
#74 - Matt Price: Defensive lineman Matt Price has seen action in 15 contests throughout his career for the Green and White. A local product out of Saline, Mich., Price has made 10 tackles as an Eagle, including a career-high three in the 2012 season opener at Ball State (Aug. 30, 2012).
#79 - Orlando McCord: Offensive lineman Orlando McCord has been an anchor for the EMU offensive line starting all 10 games this season. In his four-year career at Eastern, the Detriot, Mich. native has played in 33 games.
#93 - Cy Maughmer: Defensive lineman Cy Maughmer has appeared in 21 games throughout his career at EMU after transferring from Glendale Community College. In his two years as an Eagle, Maughmer has recorded 59 tackles, including a forced fumble and fumble recovery against Ohio (Nov. 1, 2012). This season, he has been recognized for this success on the field and in the classroom by being named to the to the 2013-14 Capital One Academic All-District team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Last season, the Glendale, Ariz. native received the Elton J. Rynearson Scholar-Athlete Award.
#95 - Kalonji Kashama: Defensive end Kalonji Kashama has played in 32 games during his EMU career, tallying 84 tackles, including 14.5 tackles for loss. This season, Kashama has recorded four sacks and forced a fumble at Rutgers (Sept. 14). In the Eagles' win against Western Michigan, the Brampton, Ontario, Canada native sacked the Broncos' quarterback twice to chip in with the victory.
GAMEDAY INFORMATION
Will Call
Fans can pick-up tickets being held for them at Will Call in the atrium of the Convocation Center. Will Call is also where fans can pick-up tickets being left for them by a player, coach, or administrator. A valid ID must be presented in order to pick-up the tickets.
Purchasing Tickets
Tickets will be for sale on game day at Gates 1 and 3, as well as the Convocation Center ticket office outside of Gate 2. Gates to the stadium will open 90 minutes prior to kick-off.
In an effort to create a fan friendly environment and in the interest of public safety, Eastern Michigan University would like to remind our fans that ALL bags are subject to search upon entry to Rynearson Stadium and the following items are not permitted: Alcohol, Coolers, outside food or drinks, camcorders on tripods, strollers, weapons, laser lights, illegal substances, backpacks or any bag over 10" x 10".
First Aid
A first aid station is located under the west stands.
Re-Entry Policy
To re-enter the stadium, guests must have their hand stamped and present their ticket stub.
Game Programs
Game programs will be available throughout the stadium.

Parking is free at all parking lots (A-D and 1-10) at Rynearson Stadium.
DISABLED PARKING/COURTESY SHUTTLE
Parking for disabled patrons is available at the Convocation Center. A state issued handicapped pass is required. A courtesy shuttle will also be available to and from all designated parking lots with a drop off location at gate 2.
Seating for disabled patrons is now located in sections 110-114.
This seating is more accessible through Gate 2 located by the entrance of the Convocation Center.

A. From the North - U.S. 23 to Washtenaw Avenue (exit 37A); head east on Washtenaw to Hewitt Road; turn left on Hewitt and proceed to Convocation Center/Stadium area.
B. From the South - see above directions (A).
C. From the East - I-94 west to Huron Street; head north on Huron Street to Cross Street; turn left at Cross to Hewitt; turn right at Hewitt and proceed to Convocation Center/Stadium area.
D. From the West - I-94 east to U.S. 23 north; exit U.S. 23 at Washtenaw Avenue (exit 37A) and follow directions above (A).

Restrooms
Restrooms are located under the stands on both the East and West sides of the stadium as well as in the Convocation Center. All are accessible.
Concessions
Concession stands can be found on the East and West sides of the stadium. The offerings consist of typical stadium food, but new offering in 2013 include a limited supply of healthier options such as Original Hummus with Pretzels, Red Pepper Hummus with Pretzels, Fresh Fruit Cup , Veggie Cup (Celery, Carrot ,Red Pepper and Ranch) and Colby Jack Cheese Cubes and Cracker cups.
Emergency
If an emergency arises, (bomb threat, trapped in elevator, medical emergency, crisis, etc.) contact a University Police Officer or a staff member for assistance. If evacuation is necessary, head for the nearest exit and open the gates to leave the stadium. DO NOT re-enter unless given permission. Emergency exits are located at the East, West, North and South sides of the stadium. During extreme weather conditions seek shelter in the Convocation Center.

Merchandise/Apparel
Merchandise is available for purchase at ShopEMUEagles.com, located under the stands on the West side of the stadium. Adidas is the official outfitter of EMU Football.
Smoking
Smoking is ONLY PERMITTED outside the stadium near gates 3 and 5.

2013 ATHLETIC TAILGATE GUIDELINES
(As of Aug, 29, 2011)
Tailgating at Eastern Michigan University is pre-game activity intended to be fun and safe for everyone on game day. Please utilize the following guidelines to maximize your experience and ensure a positive experience for others. Eastern Michigan University reserves the right to remove tailgaters from the approved areas who are not following the guidelines.
• Tailgating is authorized only in designated locations near the EMU Convocation Center, Rynearson Stadium and athletic facilities. Please see EMU ATHLETICS APPROVED TAILGATE AREAS for specific locations.
• Tailgating will not be permitted during the game or after the game is over.
• State of Michigan law states that underage drinking is illegal, even while tailgating. The legal drinking age in Michigan is 21. Serving/providing alcohol to anyone under 21 is illegal.
• Drinking games (including but not limited to beer pong), and the use of devices intended to accelerate the consumption of alcohol (including but not limited to funnels or beer bongs) are prohibited.
• Kegs of any size, party balls or other common source alcohol containers are not permitted.
• No alcohol is permitted inside the EMU Convocation Center, Rynearson Stadium and/or any other EMU athletic facilities. No drinking will be allowed outside of the designated tailgate areas.
• No glass beverage containers are permitted in the approved tailgate areas.
• For health and safety reasons, no animals are permitted in the approved tailgate areas.
• Respect your neighbors! Keeping your fun (and noise) contained in your tailgate area will go a long way to help your fellow tailgaters enjoy their experience.
• Please place all trash in receptacles. Leave the tailgate area how you found it!
• If you are planning on using a tent in your tailgating area, it must not exceed 10' x 10' unless consent is given in advance by the EMU Athletics Department. Please call 734-487-1050 for more information.
• Groups interested in reserving an area on the front lawn of Rynearson Stadium for tailgating purposes should contact EMU Athletics at 734.487.1050.
Eastern Michigan University encourages everyone to drink responsibly.
Here are some tips to assist you in having a safe experience:
ZERO Don't drink alcohol, especially if you are under 21.
ONE One drink (12 oz. Beer, 5 oz. glass of wine or 1.5 oz. shot of liquor) per hour.
THREE Don't drink more than three (3) drinks per day.
• Call 911 in case emergency medical attention is needed.
• Please do not drink and drive.
• If alcoholic beverages are served, there should be an adequate amount of food or alternate beverages served in the same location as the alcoholic beverages.
