MAC Announces Women's Academic All-MAC Team

Four Eagles named honorable mention
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced the 2012 Women's Tennis Academic All-MAC Team as voted by the league Faculty Athletic Representatives with eight student-athletes named.
Heading the list are four two-time Academic All-MAC selections including junior Prang Pantusart of Akron, junior Maddy Eccleston of Bowling Green, senior Stephanie Danesis of Miami and senior Rachel Denny of Western Michigan.
Bowling Green topped the list with three honorees on the Academic All-MAC team. Joining Eccleston from the Falcons are sophomore Nikki Chiricosta and sophomore Emily Reuland.
Regular season champion Miami had two honorees, including Danesis and senior Riekie Honiball. Western Michigan also had two selections, including Denny and sophomore Nini Sujashvili. MAC Tournament Champion Akron was represented by two-time selection Prang Pantusart.
Nominees must have a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average to be eligible for the team.
