Derek East Takes Third at Manitoba Men’s Amateur Championship

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada native posts a five-under 275

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior men's golfer Derek (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada-St. Paul's-University of New Orleans) finished in third place at the Manitoba Men's Amateur Championship, July 18-21, at Portage Golf Club. East shot rounds of 65, 66, 70 and 74 to finish with a total of five-under par 275.

The tournament was won by Jesse Skelton, who notched a 270 (68-63-69-70).
