EMU-Akron Men's Basketball Game Still Scheduled

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University-University of Akron men's basketball game scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center, will be played despite the University being closed for inclement weather.
The Zips were scheduled to arrived in Ypsilanti late Tuesday afternoon and the game will continue as scheduled. Fans unable to battle the elements can still follow the game on WEMU (89.1 FM) or on Eagle All-Access.
Additionally, the EMU women's game at Kent State University Wednesday night is still expected to be played as scheduled. The team left for Kent, Ohio early in the afternoon on Tuesday with game time scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.
