YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – On the heels of the extremely successful launch of Eagle All-Access last September, the Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics has continued the growth of the broadband channel with the announcement of the school's 2010-11 broadcast schedule Monday, Aug. 30. The productions are a combined effort between the EMU Athletic Media Relations Office, WEMU (89.1 FM) and SIDEARM Sports.

A total of 50 events are currently scheduled in 2010-11 with further dates still being finalized for broadcast on All-Access. During the 2009-10 campaign, EMU streamed 54 live events with other features appearing in the On-Demand Archive section.

The football team will have four of its five home games streamed via Eagle All-Access, beginning with the team's season opener verses the United States Military Academy Saturday, Sept. 4. Other action on the gridiron will include the Sept. 18 game versus Central Michigan, the Oct. 30 tilt against Toledo and the season finale versus Northern Illinois, Nov. 26.

EMU's homecoming affair against Ohio, Oct. 2, will not be video streamed due to contractual issues with ESPN.

Veteran Detroit-area broadcaster Matt Shepard leads the football broadcast team for the 10th year. He will be joined by analyst Rob Rubick and executive producer Jeff Fulton. Locally, the audio broadcast will again air on WEMU (89.1 FM) in Ypsilanti and WCHB (AM 1200) in Detroit.

Chad Bush returns as the primary voice of the Eagles on the All-Access broadcasts. Greg Steiner and a cavalcade of special guests will provide color commentary for the remainder of the games.

Five of the Eagles' home volleyball matches will air this season beginning with the home opener against Youngstown State, Sept. 21. Other matches will be featured against Central Michigan, Sept. 23, IPFW, Oct. 5, Ball State, Nov. 5, and Toledo, Nov. 6. The Tuesday, Nov. 23, match will also be broadcast should the Eagles host a First Round Mid-American Conference Tournament game.

Additionally, Eagle All-Access will video stream every home men's and women's basketball game this winter. A total of 29 contests (16 women's; 13 men's) will grace the small screen with the complete release of broadcast to coincide with the release of the complete schedule in the coming days.

In the spring, All-Access shifts to audio-only in its coverage of EMU baseball and softball. Currently, a minimum of 10 contests are slated to be broadcast with exact dates to follow later this winter.

Check EMUEagles.com for further updates as additional games may be added as the season progresses.
