Baseball To Hold Open Tryouts

The EMU baseball team will hold open tryouts Wed., Sept. 8, at Oestrike Stadium at 6 a.m.
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University Head Coach Jay Alexander has announced an open baseball tryout to take place Wednesday, Sept. 8, beginning at 6 a.m. at Oestrike Stadium.
All walk-on tryout participants must not only have the insurance form filled out, but must have proof of insurance (insurance card or copy) as well. Participants must also have documentation for any injuries they have had and these may need to be reviewed by the physician before they are allowed to engage in any physical activity.
Players interested in trying out must also present a current physical to the athletic training staff beforehand and must also have been accepted for admission to EMU. Those players that are not yet 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent.
