Wrestling Cracks Top-20 in New APR Rankings

The EMU wrestling team is tied for 20th in the new Academic Performance Rankings among NCAA Division I programs
NEWTON, Iowa (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University wrestling team is among the top-20 NCAA Division I programs in the nation in Academic Performance Ratings (APR) as released by Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine's June issue.
The Eagles are tied for 20th with Pittsburgh and Princeton with 971 points after the latest edition of the rankings, a new program best for EMU. Bucknell is atop the rankings list with 1,000 points followed by Air Force (993), Duke (988), Millersville (988) and Virginia (987) to round out the top-five.
EMU ranks in front of all Mid-American Conference institutions, ahead of Northern Illinois (29th), Buffalo (44th), Kent State (47th), Central Michigan (60th) and Ohio (67th).
