YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University football team's Rynearson Stadium home schedule will include two noon starts, two late-afternoon starts and one evening kick off, the athletics department announced Tuesday, June 15.

EMU is slated to open the season Saturday, Sept. 4, at home against Army in a 7 p.m. tilt.

That home opener is followed by the two straight Mid-American Conference games, at Miami University and at home for a 4 p.m. start versus Central Michigan University. EMU then returns to the road for a trip into Ohio Stadium for a Sept. 25 tilt versus Ohio State University.

The Green and White return to Rynearson Stadium against Ohio University. That Oct. 2 homecoming tilt versus the Bobcats will be shown on ESPN+ and ESPN3.com as part of the MAC's syndication package.

A trio of road contests dot the schedule with trips to at Vanderbilt University, Oct. 9, Ball State University, Oct. 16, and the University of Virginia, Oct. 23, before Eastern hosts the University of Toledo Saturday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m.

From there the Eagles travel to Kalamazoo, Mich. for a game at Western Michigan University, Nov. 13, and to Buffalo, N.Y., Nov. 20, for a MAC tilt with the University at Buffalo. The last home contest of the year is set for Nov. 26 at noon against Northern Illinois University. 

The 2010 MAC Championship Game will take place at Ford Field on Friday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m., airing on ESPN2/ESPN2 HD. The MAC's three primary postseason bowl tie ins will take place on Saturday, Dec. 18 (uDrove Humanitarian Bowl) at 5:30 p.m. on ESPN/ESPN HD, Sunday, Dec. 26 (Little Caesers Pizza Bowl) at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN/ESPN HD and Thursday, Jan. 6 (GMAC Bowl) at 8 p.m. on ESPN/ESPN HD.
