YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball program has finalized its camp dates for summer 2010. The Eagles will be hosting two team shootouts, June 18 and July 31, along with a Junior Eagle Day Camp, June 28–June 30.
The team shootouts are open to any and all high school teams. It gives coaches and players the opportunity to improve for the upcoming season, come together as a group, play at EMU's Convocation Center, and visit one of Michigan's finest universities.
Games will use MHSAA rules and have two 20 minute clock halves. Teams are guaranteed four game and camp shirts will be provided for every player and coach. The cost for the team shootout is $325.00 per team.
The Junior Eagle Camp is open to all girls entering grades 3-8 in the 2010-2011 school year. The camp is designed to give girls the opportunity to learn and improve on the fundamentals of basketball while receiving one-on-one instruction from EMU players and coaches. The camp will begin daily at 9 a.m. and be released at 4: p.m. The cost of the camp is $100.00 which includes a camp shirt and lunch provided all three days of camp.
