Eagles Record Top 20 Showings at Pengrowth Glencoe Invitational

Nicholas Banfield and Brad Larente play on the ever-demanding Glen Forest layout

CALGARY, Alberta – Eastern Michigan University men's golfers Nicholas Banfield (Halifax, Nova Scotia-St. Mary's (South Mountain C.C.)) and Brad Larente (Cambridge, Ontario-Hespeler Secondary) each recorded a top 20 showing at the Pengrowth Glencoe Invitational, June 23-27, at The Glencoe Golf and Country Club.

Banfield fired a 226 (77-76-73) for 12th place while Larente posted a 229 (74-79-76) for 19th place.

Mitch Evanecz held off a hard-charging Patrick Williams with a closing round of two-under-par 70 to post a 54-hole score of two-over 218. Williams finished with a 219, while Cory Renfrew fired a 68 to finish third at 220.
