Our boat rowed very well in Indiana two weeks ago and I hope to continue to feed on that energy in order to put us back on the winning side of the ledger with Grand Valley.”

The EMU second varsity 8 squad is slated for 9:20 a.m. in lanes three and four, while the first. The EMU novice 4 crew will compete at 10:40 a.m. and action will conclude at 11:40 a.m. when the varsity 4 crew takes the water.

“I'm looking for our novice 8 to greatly improve upon their performance in Indiana a couple of weeks ago,” Holdren added. “These ladies are taking in a lot about the sport in a short period of time, but it all plays an important part in the learning process.”
